Motion to approve Special Meeting for potential removal of Administrative Health Officer: I voted no as I think the fundamental question around the potential removal of the Health Officer is does staff have the right to give us their thoughts on a matter? Do they have a right to inform the public on their thoughts on a matter? Do they have a right to do so, even it is at odds with what the Board, in whole or part, may think on that matter? I personally believe that the answers to these questions are yes, and that a Special Meeting around this issue is not warranted.
