Board Leadership: The Board voted to elect Commissioner Moss as Chair and Commissioner Rhodea as vice chair for the coming year.

Introduction of new Veteran’s Affairs Director: Jason Schenkel introduced himself as the new Veteran’s Affair Director.

2024 Board Rules: The Board approved 7-4 the 2024 Board Rules, together with the new invocation policy. I voted no, as the Board Rules as configured do not allow Board oversight on Committee Assignments.

2024 Board of Commissioner Committee Assignments: The Board approved the 2024 Committee Assignments.

I voted no, as the Committtee Assignments are so unevenly apportioned among the Board members. All eleven of us have talents, points of view and experiences that we bring, and these assignments unfortunately do not employ these at all evenly.
