Community Health Needs Assessment Contract: The Board approved the Community Healthy Needs Assessment after a three month review period.
I am pleased that we were able to finally approve this survey that will allow both the Health Department and our Healthy Ottawa partners to advance their important work together.
Parks and Recreation Personnel Request: The Board voted to approve a request to change one 1.0 FTE full-time, benefited Natural Resources Manager (Unclassified, pay grade 12) to a Coordinator of Natural Resources and Stewardship (Unclassified, pay grade 14) at a cost of $12,471 to be paid with vacancy savings in fiscal year 2023.
Tax Year 2023 Millage Rate Resolution: The Board approved the resolution established millage rates for tax year 2023. Millage Rates are unchanged from the prior year as shown below:
American Rescue Plan Act Project Funding: The Board approved a request to use $9,441,926 in ARPA funds for revenue replacement, in order to use the resultant budgetary savings of the same amount to fund future initiatives; an approach which has made it administratively easier to comply with grant rules.
FY23 Budget Adjustments: The Board approved the 2023 budget adjustments per the attached schedule.
