Post-Execution Ratification of Contracts: The Board ratified all contracts currently pending on the monthly post-execution ratification list.

2021 Citizen Survey results: The Board received for information the 2021 Citizen Survey. It was especially heartening to see resident approval of the County Health Department’s Covid-19 management reach nearly 70% total approval, as shown above. You can read the survey here.

Sub-recipient Monitoring Policy: The Board approved the Sub-recipient Monitoring Policy on second reading. Ottawa County is responsible for monitoring the programmatic and financial activities of award sub- recipients to ensure proper stewardship of federal and state funds and will evaluate each sub-recipient’s risk of noncompliance in order to determine the appropriate monitoring level, monitor the activities of sub-recipient organizations to ensure that the sub award is in compliance with applicable Federal statutes and regulations.

Resolution to Declare Tuesday, November 23, 2021 as “Michigan Adoption Day in Ottawa County”: The Board approved the Resolution declaring Tuesday, November 23, 2021 as “Michigan Adoption Day in Ottawa County.”

Draft of Proposed 2022 Board Rules: The Board accepted as information a report from the Rules Committee on the draft of the proposed 2022 Board Rules.
